You only bitch about everybody else.”*i’m ugly crying right now!! it’s depressing, hilarious, and thrilling. i am obsessed with this, it has completely consumed me for the past few days. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong are insanely good, the chemistry is unreal. the buildup of the series was done so well and i absolutely loved watching this get more and more insane as the episodes went on.
this show examines repressed emotions - especially anger and rage - and how the societal pressure to perform and force toxic positivity can ultimately lead to depression and self-destruction. watching the domino effect of each character's actions and how it lead to drastic effects on so many lives was an absolute rollercoaster. the performances were jaw-dropping from both Steven Yeun and Ali Wong. the writing is exceptional and it absolutely deserves all the hype and love. i am in love!!
