Poor Things

Such a good film with amazing characters, the way Bella looks at the world with innocence is so interesting. Some people say this is about liberation which I get but I think it’s much more about exploitation as pretty much every character is involved in exploiting someone or being exploited, especially with how Bella ends up using Alfie and Felicity to her advantage at the end but I still don’t really get the ending tbh. Obviously it looks amazing with the cinematography being so good and the set design colourful af. The comedy aswell is genuinely funny and the sex while being graphic is very non erotic which makes sense with Bella’s view on it so it doesnt feel like just random scenes but her genuine curiosity. Also the soundtrack is amazing too.
