Django Unchained
Tarantino finally did it, direct a movie with an actual great story that has meaning and substance. My biggest complaint with Tarantino films is that, yes their directing, acting, and cinematography is great, but the stories just don’t mean a lot. Django breaks that sentiment. I love the dynamic and relationship between Django and Shultz and really clashes against Candie and Stephen when they meet them later in the film. I can’t name a single bad acting performance in this film; Christoph Waltz being my favorite. The cinematography is great and is one the best shot Tarantino’s I’ve seen. This film feels like a western intertwined with the horrors and atrocities of slavery. The revenge story of a man trying to make it back to his lover. This movie is awesome and is and probably will remain as my favorite Tarantino.
