Harmontown

COMMUNITY REVIEW Good mornDean Greendale! Although I am bound to see many more great shows for a long time that definitely are better than Dan Harmon’s Community, this one will stick around for quite a while, just like Rick and Morty also has. I started watching a few years back and kept with all of Rick and Morty all the way up til their most recent season and then I’ve seen all of Community after that, so noticing the similarities has been really fun but I do feel more appreciative toward the first series Harmon created. Very well written for at least season 1-4 and 6. Season 5 was kind of tough to get through and I took breaks in the middle seasons due to boredom. Highly uncontroversial opinion inbound: Abed and Dean Pelton are by far my favorite people to see in the show and I want to see more of Jim Rash in roles similar to the Dean. I hate puns but I’ll always let a Dean pun slide from now on. Ken Jeong’s Chang is also an unforgettable staple as well. The ending season was great and emotional but also still a bit underwhelming by the end if I’m going to be honest. I was still pulling for a surprise cameo of Donald Glover by the end but it all worked out. In comparison to other sitcoms this one is mildly under the radar and deserves more attention. Nuff said.
