Das Boot

There’s plenty of scenes here in which the claustrophobia is almost unbearable at times. Knowing you’re trapped in a metal cylinder and potentially your own coffin deep under water while you’re being shaken violently by nearby explosives.  Wolfgang Petersen and everyone involved did an incredible job with shooting this anti-war movie. That set design was genuinely outstanding. I’d be very curious on how it was filmed.
