”i would never pretend to not know you.”normal people is a mini show. it starts off like any other romcom with marianne, the outcast girl, and connell, the popular guy, it's the opposites attract story we've all seen before. but what makes this one different is how real it feels. they're not perfect, and that's what makes it feel as real as it does. they're just normal people, and that's why so many people feel like they can relate to them. daisy and paul are so perfect in their roles, with great chemistry. i loved watching them fall in love over and over again. it made me so happy, but also so sad. i was really frustrated by all the miscommunication in the beginning, but that's also a part where i felt really connected to it.
