Matthew Broderick plays David Lightman, a teenage computer nerd who accidentally hacks into a NORAD computer, and is in a race against time to prevent World War III. This was a great film that was released at the right time, during the height of the Cold War, when both sides were ready to pounce on the other on a moments notice; This film plays into the Cold War paranoia of never trusting the other side, even when they say they have not done something, they don't doubt that they are doing something. I really enjoyed this film.
