Fuck me that’s as good as i thought it would be, damn. Timothee chalamet is fucking incredible omds. John falstaff was the star here icl, I loved his character so much he’s so smart and he only says what needs to be said. Doesn’t back down when Henry’s getting aggressive towards him, I respect it so much. They played it so well, the whole time I, like Henry, justified the invasion, and they built it up like it was warranted, like a war was needed, after the ball and the assassin. But you get to the end and Catherine is asking Henry why he invaded, and he has to play up the ball and the assassin and Catherine’s shooting it down. And as you hear it you release like shit he actually did invade for nothing, he mentions it earlier to John at the campfire, that he’s unsure why they’re their, and while he does give an amazing speech to his men, it doesn’t justify, just instills them with confidence.  Then when Henry goes to the guy at the end and he calls him out, omds I loved it icl he wasn’t having any shit. I know Catherine was forced to marry Henry but they kinda would be good together, Catherine will tell Henry if he’s being insane, as she already did and Henry made her promise she’d continue to do so. But fuck this film was amazing. The fight scenes especially, timothee rolling about in the mud just killing everybody it was so sick.
