Yi Yi
Best taiwanese film oat but i still need to see a brighter summer day. Edward yang makes you want to be a better person. The acting is amazing and the cinematography is phenomenal. This film really grasps on how grief, anger, and sadness really change a persons life. Yi Yi is one of those films that shows the meaning of life and it definitely deserves its spot in the top 15 movies oat on letterboxd. This is the second best film i’ve bought on the criterion collection. Overall even though this is a long film it feels very short and most people deserve to see this at least once. The ending is absolute cinema and this will change your perspective on everything.
