A haunting portrait of a true Icarus. The mostly one shot per scene approach to cinematography stunned me - especially early on when that Julliard scene happened. Blanchett delivers a career defining - if not decade defining - performance as the titular Tár, so reserved yet so brash, her face slowly morphs into the monster she is on the inside.
