So peak. Cant help getting emotional at the end. Absolutely love “about today” by the national. And i love this movie too. I think the choice to not dive too much into the brothers pasts is a deeper and more meaningful one than it seems. It sometimes seems like oh they just skipped some backstory to save runtime but i feel like it represents the brothers themselves and them pushing all their trauma down. They dont wanna talk about it. They’re just trying to move forward and get through their own battles. The buildup, the fights themselves, the music, the lighting, just that overall grungy 2010s mma vibe. I love it. Adding this one to the favorites.
