ScarfaceNice2MeatYou9.9· November 12, 2023FollowThere was more cocaine in this movie than Cocaine Bear. When I decided to spend 18 dollars for a ticket to see a movie I’ve already seen for its anniversary I knew I was going to have a good time. I don’t know why but as soon as the opening started and I heard that music I felt a beam of happiness. I knew that this was going to be a great theater experience. The story is awesome and perfect. People really take this film the wrong way. It not glamorizing the drug empire in fact it’s telling the audience that Tony prioritized the money and power instead of the people he loves. Spoiler alert: He loses everyone he loves. The characters are great. Tony is just so entertaining with his dialogue. His obsession with power really makes him a great representation of American society. Power over everything. I could just be overthinking it though. He also has a weird relationship with his sister but I’m gonna leave that here. He pairs great with his friend manny. Gina is really weird. The cinematography is colorful and beautiful. The shot of the blimp and him looking at it after killing someone is perfect. The setting of Miami in general is so good. The club looks so cool and is visually pleasing. The pacing is perfect. It flew right by for a long movie. The ending is so good. It’s one of the best endings I’ve ever seen. Seeing that final battle in theaters is an experience that I will remember to the grave. Al Pacino is such a good actor. The movie looks good too. And yes there is a scar on his face Story 10/10Characters 10/10Cinematography 10/10Pacing 10/10Ending 10/10CommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the appSee all Nice2MeatYou's reviews for Scarface (3)First watch9.9July 26, 2023Rewatch 19.9November 12, 2023Rewatch 29.9November 2, 2024
