Michael

Going into this movie I had the utmost hype regarding everything to do with this biopic. As we have never had a true depiction of Michael. And as a fan that had grew up with his music you could see where my bias would give me the biggest influence of hope.  First I would like to talk about the acting, I truly believe Jaafar transformed himself into Michael with his speaking, singing and manners. Colman Domingo, playing Joe was something that I think worked well, as he got me rooting for Michael. So that being said he definitely did his job as the antagonist.  But the reason I gave it this rating, is that there was just some flat moments of the story, which in showcasing the ever detailed live of Michael Jackson there is a lot to talk about. And most of that I think can be tied with the scenes with Joe, though they were meant to push the story forward, there was something that just felt so flat on what was being depicted, leaving me wanting more.  Overall I think it was a great movie but that mostly is for my ever dying love for MJ.
