Beautiful Boy

Steve Carell's range as an actor took me away before this I never knew he could even act to this level, also Timothee Chalmet gave his best for this and you know he did research on addiction and wanted to perfect his role. He never really gets roles where he has to really act but this is incredible. The story/plot is so easy to follow and has a circular structure exactly like how addition doesn't have an ending but a never ending battle. The story is so heartbreaking especially when David leaves Nic and knows he can't help anymore and Nic has to help himself for now on. This is proof you don't need anything but great actors with the perfect script and story to make an amazing movie.
