Sinners

The setting being the 1930s is such a unique time period, having hints of the wild west with lots of modern things aswell. Also going in you think it's going to be the usual story about struggle and desperation but switches to themes of supernatural and family. The music is absolutely incredible and how the plot is about Sammie and the power of his songs is such a unique idea for a story especially with where and when it's set. The ending and midpoint if the movie are spectacular and are filled with so much emotion and tragedy but also with hope. Overall, the movie is a standout for the Horror genre with complex and obviously thought out characters, the sets costumes and practical effects with the vampire make up is incredible everything in this movie is perfect from beginning to the end.
