Phantom Thread

What a brilliant, complicated and realistic love story. The tone of the film was so beautiful and meditative, thanks to the fantastic, melancholic score, that was playing constantly, as well as the gorgeous production design and costumes. The performance by the two lead actors were incredible and really made you form a emotional connection to them. Furthermore, the cinematography was awesome, crazy to believe that PTA actually served as the cinematographer himself. And the way Reynolds would often get annoyed by every little thing Alma did was so unintentionally funny, but it never detracted from the serious tone. 9.8/10
