gut-wrenched and tear-stricken at 3AM as i write this. i just finished the last episode and oh my god. the sublime music plays as marianne and connell sit on the cold floor talking about how different their lives would be if they had never met. they changed each other's entire life by just meeting. connell made marianne learn to love herself by loving her unconditionally and marianne taught connell to be himself however he could. i read the book a while back and really did not like it. but never in my life had i thought i would like the adaptation better than the book yet here we are. i think paul and daisy were perfect for connell and marianne. their on-set chemistry was just beautiful.
