The Witch
The cinematography, gray color pallet, and foreshadowing are all insane here. They all contribute so much to showing you the isolation and helplessness of the family, and the impending doom approaching them. You can feel how alone and fucked they are through the music, dull colors and shots of the farm and surrounding area.
The decision to keep the witch largely out of the picture and a complete unknown to the family after the initial death of sam is so awesome. A supernatural force in the woods killing them 1 by 1 would be been cool, but it leaving them alone and allowing them to drown in their own paranoia, guilt, and fear to the point where they turn on each other was sooo much better.
The acting, especially Anya Taylor-Joy, is great.
