Alien: Covenant

“Serve in heaven... or reign in hell. Which is it to be?” The conception of the perfect organism. Prometheus bestows god-given fire, but Covenant unleashes it. This is genuinely the most unsettling Alien movie out there, and it’s a shame that I’ve waited this long to finally watch it. Such a deeply philosophical feast: true evolution is untamed, and a man-made hand attempting to play God is ultimately futile. Alas, can we ever escape the consequences of our actions? Or are we cursed to foster them in the hope that it all meant something. This is my new favourite from Ridley Scott and also my new favourite Alien.
