Unbreakable

Holy shit, the score for this film is on another level. I genuinely want that shit injected into my veins.
The most moody and uniquely stylized atmosphere. It baffles me that Shyamalan had the confidence to do something like this so early in his career, unfortunately, it wouldn’t become much of a trend.
Nevertheless, taking this as a singular picture and not as a piece of a larger filmography, this film is just absolutely perfect. Sure, there are some plot holes, and some minor details didn’t age that well, but overall? This is how you do a character study. This is how you portray superhero media without it feeling wacky, taking itself seriously, as it should.
Love you Shyamalan, hopefully someday you’ll start making movies like this again.
