Hamnet
“i have no talent in waiting”
and then they danced to fucking rihanna…
i came back to this movie for the sole purpose of crying my eyes out and i got exactly that and more. i definitely cried more than i did the first time. ughhhhh i don’t even remember what to talk about, i was just crying so much and it felt so good to let it out bc what a hell of a time it has been in my life. it’s movies like this, this is why i keep going, what shakespeare did with hamlet is so passionately shown here and you feel every moment of it. you feel everyone’s grief and the different ways they go about it but at the same time, it’s such an incredible love story. jessie buckley… oscar winner… you feel it most from her of all and it all adds up until the very end where she finally understands and sees. it’s quite literally a work of art, as my art teacher said, but also just all around, it really is beautiful, and i do need to rewatch obaa, but this might be my favorite of last year now. really, how can people look at this movie and hate it? it genuinely annoys me. i fucking love art
okay bye
