my mind has not changed, still peak… the story and the leadup to the reveal, the structure of it all, its perfect, it felt so slow the first time watching it, but it was fine cause i do like a good long movie, but it went by so much faster this time 🥀. the score made my bones shiver, in good and “bad” ways, the reveal is done so splendid, the amount of lore zach cregger can expand upon from this movie is astronomical, and his directing style being suspenseful, comedic, with a scary undertone is a nice touch to his projects. that ending, though abrupt, gives the film a good conclusion. this movie feels almost exactly like longlegs but if it stuck the landing with the majority audience (stole that from a tweet i saw, didn’t know how else to word it) best believe that’s how i will be running the rest of my life, judge me. god i love this movie
