The Batman

A visual and atmospheric masterpiece. I can’t praise the look of this movie enough. The dark tone, the colors, the rain, and the overall atmosphere create such an amazing vibe. The music and the sound design were incredible and added even more to the atmosphere. So many shots were so stunning, they could all be wallpapers. I think Robert Pattinson was amazing, both as Batman and as Bruce Wayne. Paul Dano as the Riddler was also incredibly well played. Overall, this interpretation felt very different, which is great. It was really brutal and grounded, which felt fresh and new. But like many superhero movies, it has its problems. There are quite a few logical issues, a story that loses itself at times, and some clichés. They could have made much more out of it. And the three-hour runtime feels unnecessary, the film would have worked just as well, if not better, with a 2 to 2.5 hours runtime. Overall, an incredible comic book adaptation, one of the greatest of all time. Grateful that this movie was made.
