The Monkey
When I say that Osgood Perkins made back-to-back movies of the year, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. The Monkey was one of the greatest theater experiences I've ever had. This movie had everything that I love about film. It had hilarious comedy, amazing acting and writing, just top notch cinematography, and all out disgusting, excessive amounts of gore. I went in with the highest expectation that this was going to be better than Longlegs, so it was already going to be one of my favorite movies of all time, and yet it's still exceeded my expectations by a fucking light year. After writing this review, I might just go straight into the next showing again because it's simply that good. Please for the love of god, go see this movie, you will not regret it in a million years.
