Th production design of “Alien” is probably one of the greatest ever created. You can see it’s influence throughout cinema. Of course it was inspired by films like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Star Wars, but it feels original in so many ways. The plot explores so many rad ideas too. “In space no one can hear you scream” is one of the coolest poster campaigns ever! Shoutout to the Eggs, Chest scene, and title animation. The alien itself is actually terrifying. Everything holds up pretty well. Sigourney Weaver is probably my favorite “Final Girl”!
