“I know it's been hard for you. I recognize myself in you. But you're so goddamn angry. It's hard to love someone who's so full of rage. Right? You don't want to be alone forever.” Such a beautiful film about generational trauma and how art can be a way of confronting trauma but also a way of escaping it. Everybody gives such amazing emotional performances especially the actress for Agnes I hope she wins the Oscar for this movie. I also found out that in the movie that Gustav speaks in Swedish while Nora and Agnes are speaking in Norwegian because both languages are basically the same but it just shows these small details add to how they could never communicate with eachother.
