Parasite

didn’t catch the first like 40 mins but still holds up as pretty much just as good as the first time i watched.  it’s definitely not the first korean film to make a social commentary on class but it does so in such an interesting way, so many metaphors and allegories (some more obvious some more covert) for capitalism and class. it wasn’t until rewatching that all the little comments on said socio-economic factors became more apparent. very interesting film also the fucking shot of the guy coming up the stairs where you can just see his eyes is the only scene in a film that has successfully made me that uncomfortable.
