The Wind Rises

Week #9: It is such a beautiful film. The animation, the story and especially the music. It has flaws, like the pacing feels a bit clunky and some characters, mainly the sister, was really underutilized. But goddammit, this was a great watch, and I was so close to crying at the end. Jiro was meant to build planes that would help his people, not disposable war machines. Love you, Hayao!
