Frankenstein
The first watch made me bitter because the book is so dear to me, but rewatching definitely let me take note of the messages that each change to the novel sent, and really appreciate what Del Toro’s vision was. Honestly a beautiful movie even if it wasn’t what I expected in terms of book accuracy. Also, Charles Dance as a cruel father ain’t hurt either.
