Scream 4

I’ve discussed this before- My Favorite installment, but not the best one. My favorite Ghostface reveals since the original, a truly fantastic new addition in Kirby Reed played by the immensely talented Hayden Panettiere. No wonder the bullshit coming out this month is a requel to this and (parts of) 3.   But for the reason I even chose to watch this today: The 4K remaster is insane holy fuck, obviously they couldn’t completely remove the filter as it was an intentional creative decision by Wes Craven (which never really bothered me) but they really made up for it because when this remaster looks good it looks immaculate. I cannot wait to see how this looks on disc if it looks this damned good on streaming. I genuinely never noticed how yellow the original film was until now and the whites and blacks really pop!
