Django Unchained

Quentin Tarantino is literally a mastermind. I absolutely love Django Unchained. Alongside Inglorious Basterds, I truly believe this is Quentin Tarantino’s best work. The friendship and bond between Django and Dr. Schultz is just beautiful, genuine, complex, and so well developed. The plot, the story, the acting, the directing, the historical context, and the deeper meaning behind everything make this an absolute 10/10 for me. Fun fact the n-word is used 110 times in the film which is something that reflects the brutal reality of the time it’s set in, and adds to its unapologetically raw tone.
