Ghostbusters

Study movie: Unlocked.I decided to throw this on while writing a paper (It's done, YAY!!!), and I've concluded that this should stay in my top 4. I genuinely think this is one of the best comedic screenplays. Similar to movies like "A Fish Called Wanda", this movie feels like lightning in a bottle. While I don't think there is a truly bad Ghostbusters movie (aside from Frozen Empire, 2016 isn't that, Afterlife is cute, and 2 is very fun), none of them will capture how fantastic everything about this is. The first ten minutes, when we get the first scene with the librarian, the introduction of the trio, and the first encounter, are incredible. This movie is great at introducing its protagonists both visually and through subtle dialogue that carries so much charm. I think every line of dialogue in this movie is excellent, and it should be studied. My beloved Dan Aykroyd is great as always, and the rest of the ensemble cast is great (shout out to Annie Potts, she is so fucking funny). What else can I say, it's fantastic.
