Dune

Technically super well made and realized. Everything feels tangible like you are there. Did this movie kick off the part 1 part 2 trend we are starting to see? Maybe but it’s very much a part 1. There’s not many completed character arcs and the conflict is totally unresolved but the movie works. It helps I know where the plot is going and how this is all just setting up a banger part 2. Seeing the trailer for part 2 it gives me hope it will stick the landing so I’m giving this the half star bump. By the end of the year this will be a fucking monumental one two sci-fi punch. Shoutout to flounder’s pre dune presentation to get Brandon up to speed on dune lore
