Disenchanted

It’s definitely not as good as the first film, but I didn’t expect it to be. I thought the music was a bit underwhelming, but nothing terrible. My biggest complaint is that there wasn’t nearly enough Robert. He’s such a wife guy in this and I would have loved to see him more. His scenes with Giselle were adorable, and I’m glad the conflict didn’t involve their marriage. I loved the Morgan and Giselle conflict a lot, though I think the film could’ve done a bit more with the idea of Morgan feeling replaced/not feeling like Giselle’s real daughter. Overall, the film is cute and fun. I enjoyed both my watch-throughs. It’ll never beat the original but I still had a good time with it.
