**1️⃣8️⃣MOVIES FOR THE FIRST 18 YEARS OF MY LIFE —————————————————— ️⃣SPECIAL Part ~ “WandaVision*” 📺🔥🤖🔮📼🚁 Age: 13** ️⃣ Not OFFICIALLY part of my 18 movies list because… it’s not a movie. But WandaVision* earns the right to be an extra part of this list bc it’s everything to me. I planned to rewatch it during this summer, but adding it as a bonus to this list was a last minute decision. ️⃣ I WON’T GO THAT MUCH INTO MY MARVEL JOURNEY IN THIS REVIEW, i’m keeping that for another one. But the thing is on spring break in 2021 i watched all the MCU projects (till TFATWS cuz that was the last one that came out back then). And after watching the movies Wanda was one of my fav characters. And then i watched the then 2 shows. And WV *became my fav Marvel project. *️⃣ Unfortunately i didn’t have a blind first watch. Cuz after the first episode i was SO confused that i googled “what should you know before watching WV”. And the answer was “Wanda creates a false reality to be with Vision”… Yep, i searched for PRE knowledge and i got the whole series spoiled. And ofc i knew the Agatha twist, cuz both “Agatha all along” and the ep 2 theme were all over my tt BEFORE i even started watching Marvel. *️⃣ This is the 10th time i see this series, but if you count all the yt commentaries and reactions it would be around 30. I fell in love with this show and these characters instantly. *️⃣ I’ve seen episode 1 in itself so many times that i almost know the script by heart. ️⃣ I’ve had WV *as my fav “movie” on LB for so long, before i decided to take it out in order to have 4 actual movies. *️⃣ Now everybody who knows me personally knows i love film history and how each decade of cinema is distinguishable. And this show is why. I haven’t seen any old movies when i first saw WV, but i still LOVED the whole “each ep is a different decade” theme. And it basically combines movie history and witchcraft (which are two of my fav things). *️⃣ Loved all the sets and wardrobes, the transformations that their house goes through, EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF THIS SERIES IS A 10/10. *️⃣ And i remember when i tried to watch it with my then best friend a year after i’ve first seen it (cuz she was also watching all of the MCU), and she got bored after 5 min of the first ep and paused it. Cause “it’s black and white and boring”… She did fully watch it a couple of days later and liked is more, but i would say she still didn’t appreciate it enough. *️⃣ And there are so many hidden details in this. From the commercials’ true meanings, to the little dialogue hits and theme songs lyrics. IT’S JUST SO GOOD. I used to love keeping track of how the days in Westview made no sense (cuz ep 1 takes place on a Friday, and ep 3 (2 days later) takes place on a Tuesday. And ep 4 is on a Saturday). *️⃣ Also, i have to confess that i wasn’t aware of the whole Marvel post credit thing at the beginning, so for a couple of months until my friend watched the show too I DIDN’T KNOW THE LAST EPISODES HAD POST CREDIT SCENES. *️⃣ It really is THE BEST AND MOST UNIQUE THING MARVEL HAS EVER PRODUCED. Cuz it has this incredibly thought production i’ve been talking about, but underneath all that is a show about grief. *️⃣ And this show about Wanda’s grief helped me through the worst year of my life. Rewatching this on an almost weekly basis and looking forward to Multiverse of Madness were my reasons to live. I WILL NOT TALK ABOUT MOM IN THIS REVIEW, BUT I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE THE CONTINUATION OF THE WV STORY. ️⃣ Speaking of, i was dying to get Agatha All Along. When the first bts photos came out during the winter of 22, i started theorizing crazy style (cuz i couldn’t theorize anything bout WV cuz i got spoiler). I was scared about Joe being (potentially) cast as Billy, but he ended up being amazing. And i WON’T ACTUALLY TALK ABOUT AAA either, all that is will say is that it’s the SECOND BEST MARVEL PROJECT. And I’m incredibly excited for Vision Quest *to come out next year and complete this franchise. ️⃣ As for the continuation of the side characters in Love and Thunder, Quantumania and The Marvels… *not the biggest fan. I loved Monica’s arc, but all these movies are basic Marvel mediocre movies. *️⃣ This series made Wanda become my nr 1 fav Marvel character (she was nr 2, after Tony), and my OVERALL FAVORITE FICTIONAL CHARACTER. I’m on a quest to collect all the Wanda funkos. So far i have 19/24 (soon to be 25). *️⃣ And in 2023 I MET LIZZIE. I won’t go into details, i’m saving that for a different review (since this review isn’t part of the official list), but I MET HER AND I HAVE A SIGNED AOU WANDA FUNKO “I only remember feeling completely alone.
