Phantom Thread

I just finished watching it and I have to say it's not what I expected. Now what I mean by that is that I was watching the movie and expected there to be an antagonist and protagonist but the film finds a balance between the two main characters Reynold and Alma. These characters have their ups and downs but they both complete each other. Their love is perfect as they both fill in the missing pieces. I also thought when Alma poisoned Reynold, that she was gonna become the antagonist who tries to lie their way into winning the inheritance and avoid the crime but the film doesn't do that and makes the film unpredictable which I liked.
