Chungking Express

this was a great valentine’s day movie tbh, my experience with this was a lot better than with Fallen Angels, prob bc of the far more coherent plot. beautiful feels like an understatement to describe Chungking Express. i feel like every aspect of this movie: the storytelling, the script, the characters, and of course, the cinematography is just so well done. there are so many shots i could pick out from this, and also the action scenes with like 5 fps genuinely were so cool. i look forward to coming back to this one, maybe next valentine’s day, who knows. Actually, really knowing someone doesn't mean anything. People change. A person may like pineapple today and something else tomorrow.
