Before Sunset

The way that for 80 minutes I'm completely hung up one every piece of dialogue spoken and every look shared. The way that for 80 minutes, there's no Ethan or Julie, just Jesse and Celine. The way that they feel so magically unreal and, at the same time, so flawlessly real. I feel like I know these characters. I feel their emotions as if they were my own. Because in a way, they are. There's no plausible reason as too why this pair of human beings is so perfect yet so ordinary. I'm more and more invested and in awe of a fictional relationship each time I watch this trilogy. I quite simply can't even fathom any sort of understanding as to why I love this and them so much. Completely outerworldly. Just surreal.
