Interstellar
**One of the best 75 films I’ve ever seen.**
It is not the best in science fiction or in space, it is not even the best touching human themes, nor does it have the best soundtrack or the best cinematography. But what it does have is that it is one of the best in each of those things I mentioned. And not all films manage to achieve that.
I have mentioned it before and I will mention it again. This film was the one that made me closer to the cinema, of course it always fascinated me but if it weren't for this one I would never have been so interested in discovering the purpose of this art and that I would realize that I wanted to be part of it, live through art and that my work transcends time.
Nolan is one of the best filmmakers of our time, you could say that I go to the cinema thanks to the fact that at a time where it matters more that characters appear in the movie (yes superhero movies, I'm talking to you), the achievement that people go to the movies for him and not because something is going to happen that interests them. Just look at Oppenheimer, almost a billion profit in a film that is a 3-hour drama and with black and white, he had everything to fail, but thanks to his entire career (and Barbie) he achieved the impossible.
Many complain about the end because they consider it very fanciful that love transcends time when the film was already going very well and was too realistic using real calculations so that everything that happened was as close as possible to the reality that exists, but that ending only made progress be lost. For me that is not a problem (since cinema is something that does not have to be real, it can become real but it will not be at all), I love the fact of wanting to tell something as attached to reality to end up telling something that for many is fanciful. This film has such a powerful message but still does not reach the heels of what is the power of love.
I feel this film related a lot with God, the love of a father saved humanity. And I think you already know who I'm talking about.
Before this was my favorite and now I liked it much more but it is impossible to put this as my favorite. I have seen many more films that I feel have helped me not only to expand my knowledge but also to grow as a person.
Thank you dad for giving me this experience, this review is dedicated to you, thank you for being the best dad in the world.
May God bless you and remember to take advantage of every second, that at any moment we will look at the past with teary eyes wishing to return.
100/100
