Faces
Epitomises all the reasons I've become obsessed with Cassavetes in the last few months. Some of the most complicated characters you'll ever see but will definetly understand. Doesn't even feel like a movie at some points but like you're just watching these people live their lives as messy and chaotic as that is. Cassavetes is such a talent for displaying people trapped within themselves without dumping mass amounts of exposition or dialogue and that's what makes these films feel so deeply human and emotional.
