Waves

9.0/10 Waves is brilliant, extremely heavy and a tough watch but brilliant. The performances are human and raw, the soundtrack choices are superb and the cinematography is amazing. I thought that the plot was really interesting as well and this movie really shows how family tragedies can  bring families closer and pull them apart all at the same time. I will say though what holds this back from being a higher rating is that I think while the second half is great and has many good moments I think the first half had more stuff going on in it.
