THIS is Joaquin Phoenix's best performance, not Joker (2019). God bless your soul, Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I envy PTA's writing so much, i hate it. Imagine writing There Will Be Blood (2007) then following up with another banger. PIGFUCK! Also, since i'm a huge mark for PTA. I somehow see this film as a symbol or representation of PTA going out of his film geekiness by making something that feels like it's a true PTA film that isn't compared to films by his master, Robert Altman. It's kind of his way of saying goodbye to the style we knew him for.
