Spider-Man

obviously perfect for it's unabashed sincerity, wonderful set-pieces & a perfect representation of what spiderman means (to me) but goddamn it just goes to another level with raimi's pulp & horror sensibilities coming into play (that grimy climax plastered w/ gothic imagery is to die for), the awkward, stilted, sometimes embarrassing romances (high schoolers are not charismatic people!!!), and elfman firing on all cylinders, not a scene in here where his music did not Hit Me. This might be the greatest movie ever made
