No other film has perfected the balance of romance and horror like this one does. The perfect mix of gore and romance. Using cannibalism as a metaphor for romance is so unique. The ending was brilliant. It represents how humans crave affection, and when they get that mutuallly, it eventually ends with someone sacrificing their everything for someone they love in one way or another. I think I need to stare at a wall after watching this.
