Chernobyl
Chernobyl is a Mastercraft in storytelling. What makes this mini-series so good is its refusal to sugarcoat everything. It takes its time to outline all the scientific and logical aspects of this horrific disaster.
Alongside that, the series opens up many character arcs, one specific to episode 4 is amazing, that helps encompass how largely this event impacted everyone and how many people were needed to cover it up.
What really stands out is the cinematography in this, I mean a majority of the shots are stunning and allow its moody lighting to impact the whole tone of the series.
The series, although five episodes, can be a bit to get through considering its heavy dialogue and political narrative. In the end, though, it's so rewarding. A must-watch series.
