Normal People

Normal People is an emotional punch in the throat (think of the scene in Uncut Gems, but with sadness and not anger). 12 episodes and a five year span of a relationship between two high school sweethearts. The relationship is always present when it’s not, and that what makes it hurt so much. Feels real even if it focuses on the depressing side of their lives. One of my favourites things I’ve watched, and I could definitely watch again.
