it may sound weird but this is my favourite movie of all times. i immediately fell in love with this sick couple and their sick love, the way they need each other to function properly, Alma becoming Reynolds’ mom giving him all the attention he needs and Reynolds’ becoming her son in desperate need of affection and love. i remember the final scene in the kitchen scared me to death the first time i watched it and now it’s one of my favourites because it reveals the fundamental of their relationship, he understands what’s going on and accepts it. honourable mention: the dance scene with that magnificent background
