my god.  hamlet is so dear to me. this movie is one of the most human i have seen maybe ever. the whole theater was crying and i think that says a lot. jessie buckley needs that oscar. jacobi jupe is the most talented little boy just looking at him was enough to make me cry. haven't seen noah jupe in anything since ford v. ferarri but casting these brothers is just a spectacular choice. noah did a phenomenal job, i'm glad he was in a project as great as this one. paul mescal once again giving a life changing performance. that man is determined to carry the weight of grief in every movie he does. i am just in awe of the craft of this. it is SO atmospheric, so well performed by the entire cast including background characters, and so well directed. wow.  palm to palm is holy palmers kiss. thinking about hands and how they are like branches. that end. perfect.
