I genuinely think this love story is one of the best/most underrated of the 21st century. I think if people gave international films a chance (animated or not) and weren’t so scared of watching a screen and reading subtitles, they could open themselves up to some extremely inspiring pieces of media like this. One of my favorite movies ever that I find myself constantly rewatching no matter the mood. Taki and mitsuha literally defy physics and the space-time continuum due to the power of love lol.
