Blade Runner

thought i’d give this a rewatch after having just finished the book recently. the book and the film are almost nothing alike, the film is so loosely based on it you wouldn’t even know it was based on it at all if the characters had different names (which some of them do) lmao. most of the general concepts are the same but the film misses out on a lot, i loved the entire idea of mercerism and the empathy boxes in the book and the fact most humans relied on it only made everyone’s situations far bleaker than it already was. either way both are still peak in their own ways, this movie especially will always be a favourite of mine.
